Private VS Public Journal

I am still undecided about whom I will share this blog with. Should I just put this blog on my profile as my website? Should I share my entries randomly on facebook? Should I just leave it for some random strangers to read? Who is my target audience?

The more I think about it, the more I realise that I should just share it with EVERYONE I know. Absolutely everyone. It doesnt matter who. Just everyone! Because the reason I have been thinking or wanting to create this blog to begin with is so that I can be a witness to God's love. So I can use my life and events in my life to glorify His name. So that more and more incidents will happen in which God clearly displays His mighty love and power in my life, and the end result to all these is so that God gets to claim His people back, and so that more and more people turn back to God as the one and only answer to all their prayers.

But somehow I have been quite nervous about this. I have been nervous for numerous stupid reasons that I cant even articulate properly on this blog, but I know I've been nervous and I think God knows. Because this evening I came across this verse:

1 Peter 2:9-10 (The Message)
"But you are the ones chosen by God, chosen for the high calling of priestly work, chosen to be a holy people, God's instruments to do His work and speak out for Him, to tell others of the night-and-day difference He made for you - from nothing to something, from rejected to accepted."

I have enjoyed blogging since I was able to write. I have kept all my journals from when I was a little girl not realizing that there's a purpose to my hobby. Now is the time to make something out of nothing... to actually start living a life that I was called to live: "to do His work and speak out for Him", to reach my destiny in Christ.

So today, my new online blog is launched.... :)

First Entry

I've been wanting to create an online blog for a while. A platform or tool that I can use to share my journey with God with others. To share about His love, His mercy, His grace, and everything I have learnt about Him. To bring others closer to Him, and to encourage others to receive His love that's freely given to us with nothing asked in return.

Like any others, my life has its own ups and downs, and through every single event or incident in my life, I never fail to see God's hands intervening for a good outcome. I have been blessed not because of what I've done or who I am, but simply because He loves me. My friends will tell you that I am not some super holy/righteous woman. I am just a normal person with lots of of weaknesses and flaws. This blog is not about me, but it's about what God does for me because of His love for me.

I love blogging, so if I can do the things I enjoy to bring more glory to His name, I will do that. My only prayer is that you'll open up your heart to Him and allow Him to love you and to be in your heart and in your life.
