Why do I blog?

Some of my friends ask me: why do I blog?

Have you heard that story about the lost sheep?

Luke 15
Then Jesus told them this parable: 4 "Suppose one of you has a hundred sheep and loses one of them. Doesn't he leave the ninety-nine in the open country and go after the lost sheep until he finds it? 5 And when he finds it, he joyfully puts it on his shoulders 6 and goes home. Then he calls his friends and neighbors together and says, 'Rejoice with me; I have found my lost sheep.' 7 I tell you that in the same way there will be more rejoicing in heaven over one sinner who repents than over ninety-nine righteous persons who do not need to repent.

If you had many children, would you allow one of your children to go missing without any attempt to find or investigate? Any sane parents would put their heart and soul to find their missing child. They'd do anything they can and spend all their money for the sake of that one, just one, missing child.

The heart of God is filled with so much more love than we, human, can comprehend. If a human parent can love their children that much, God's love for His children, including the lost ones, is like ten hundred thousand million (if such number exists) times more! And Jesus said it himself in that parable.

I guess I blog in the hope that my friends, colleagues, the youth, and everyone in my circle of influence turn to God and accept His love by accepting what He's done through His son, Jesus. Plus I would like to see them in heaven for the eternity.

It's also my payback for what He's done for me. He has blessed me and my family with everything: health, finances, peace, forgiveness, love, acceptance, and everything we ever need and want! But even if things go bad, I know that what He's done for me on the cross is enough for me to continue to do this.

Joel Houston once said, we, believers, are like many loose chains that connect people to God, you are one link in a chain, and you may be part of different chains to connect different people. A person may be influenced by many believers over time before they make a decision for Christ. Even if it's at the very end of their lives.

You are one of the links in the chain that brings your friend to God.

So if you read a blog entry that touches your heart, can you please share it so it reaches out to as many people?

Tat way you're helping Him reach out to His children and I'm sure He'll bless you for that. Not that He needs our help, but then again which parents don't like seeing their children lend helping hands out of love and gratitude?

This is not about me. I couldn't care less if you ask me to take my photo off and change my name to 'Anonymous'. It's all about telling the world that there is a God, who loves them unconditionally.

So if you read my blog, and you do not know God or Jesus, simply ask Him to reveal Himself to you and when the time is right, I'm sure He will. It really doesn't matter who you are, what you do for a living, or what wrongs you have done in the past. Nothing matters, because He has the power to change you.

Even if only one person in this whole world change his/her life and accepts Him because of this blog, it is worth it.
